About iClippy

When we started iClippy it was to solve a specific problems - make copying into webmail or online document as easy as it is with a desktop client, without having to deal with saving, uploading, storing things in multiple places, etc.. We wanted to make it super easy to copy pictures, tables, and parts of the screen. We also wanted to have that clipboard be readily available from the desktop in case you want to refer back to the captured images.

We've since expanded the use of iClippy to enable things like visual site bookmarking, simple image editing, ocr recognition, document scanning, remote computer monitoring, and many others, making iClippy not only a clipboard, but an online imaging platform.

To make iClippy service reliable, secure, and scalable, we're using the best-of-breed platforms for file storage ( S3 from Amazon ) and code execution ( Google Apps Engine )

We're committed to making things easier for people who are moving their applications and data online.

Basic version of iClippy is free and will remain free. We make money by selling premium packages with extended storage options and large image sizes.
